We invite you to bring your history buffs and veterans from WW2 as well as concert pianists and students of music history to Dr Gary Pedersen's entertaining, talented, and inspiring piano lecture/recital in a great acoustic at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church. doors open at 3;30.

Gary presents slides and films during his performance which he narrates, as he performs jazz, classical, blues, and film music on Steinway and the submarines, morale and how music played a role during WW2.

A musical Salute

An octet from CES was on Sonoran Living Channel ABC15 on May 4th. We were promoting our Armed Forces Day concerts, honoring all our veterans. "A Musical Salute" is filled with patriotic music, a Civil Air Patrol Honor Guard, and a highly decorated retired Naval Pilot who flew in Vietnam. Veterans are invited to join us at no cost!

Choral music in Scottsdale

Choral music is my passion for the art creates community. We all need music in our lives and singing together connects people. In my lifetime, this is the most vulnerable, emotional time in our country since my memory of post Viet Nam War. Music soothes, heals, and crosses borders. Come enjoy our Scottsdale choir soon!

Creating a Lifelong Singer

When Susan McMane was in high school, she probably spent about as much time chanting “two, four, six, eight” as she did singing “do, re, mi.”

“I was a cheerleader, and it was probably the worst thing I could have done for my voice,” she says. “The way we use our voice for talking and other activities can hurt it as much as singing if we’re using it incorrectly. I would have liked for someone to have told me that.”
